Dhadkan Radio is a community radio. Ministry of Broadcasting, GOI, has allotted frequency 107.8 FM for Radio Dhadkan. Sambhav, a Shivpuri based NGO since 1986, has established this CR with the financial and technical support of UNICEF.

Going by the principles, the community will prepare program themselves and broadcast through Radio Dhadkan. The community Radio will be work as a strong and true media for Rural Community.

Prime Objectives

• Provide information to community about Education, Health, Sanitation and safe behaviors.

• Providing the vital information (which is inaccessible) to community. 

• Promoting the Local folk culture, providing a stage to local folk artists.

• Spreading information about various Govt. Schemes in community, so that they have benefit of Govt. schemes.

• Providing information and solution to Sahriya community in their local language. Promoting Sahriya culture and folk.

• Promoting education in low literacy areas of Shivpuri through continuous dialogue and awareness generation through Radio Dhadkan.
